On 1 April 2020, a distinguished Member of the British Judiciary became the first person in legal history to win an appeal against the UK Government’s Ministry of Justice at the Office of the Public Appointments Commissioner

Press Release

On 1 April 2020, a distinguished Member of the Judiciary, a prominent community leader who is a deeply entrenched member of the UK Establishment, finally won his long-standing appeal against the Ministry of Justice Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) Committee. It is the first time in human history for a statutory regulator to consider an appeal against the Ministry of Justice and to rule in favour of the victim.

The Ruling from the Office of Public Appointments Commissioner, the statutory regulator of all public appointments, is final and is in the victim’s favour.

On many levels, this ruling is more historic than the Supreme Court ruling against the Prime Minister in 2019. This is because in this case, the disabled victim had no legal representation whereas the Establishment had thousands of powerful lawyers in the Government Legal Department.

This landmark ruling was one of many milestones in the long journey to justice but it was not the first or only victory experienced by the victim and his loyal legions of supporters around the world.

To this day, the UK Establishment who wronged the victim still stubbornly refuse to have the courtesy of apologising, offer compensation for losses and/or rectify the mistakes.

On 20 October 2017, the President of the UK Supreme Court confirmed, in an official letter, the whistle-blower’s work is “fantastic” (this is a direct quote) after reading some of the charity reports.

On 12 April 2018, the whistle-blower became the first and only professional in recent British legal history to receive the recognition of being “extremely distinguished” (this is a direct quote) in an official letter from the third most senior Judge in the UK Supreme Court.

Genuine supporters from press and media, and wider society, are welcome to communicate with the victim’s spokespersons (friends who are judges, lawyers, police and journalists) via our social media profiles on Twitter and Instagram. Search “Healed by Compassion” on the internet and our social media profiles are listed on results page one.

The press releases (items 1a and 1b in the supporting documents section below) succinctly summarised why the ruling is historic, landmark and monumental, as well as unprecedented. Indeed, it’s the first time in human history, in all 195 countries, for a statutory regulator to rule against a nation’s legal administration.
